Called Milltown on a Friday afternoon about snaking a drain. They had someone at the house within an hour of the initial call. Super easy - team was professional and work was done cleanly.

Doug diagnosed and explained the problem perfectly. He was able to get the new water heater installed the next day.

The installation team showed up at 8am and came prepared to work- 4 men and 4 trucks We were having our old tankless water system removed and a new boiler and water tank installed I barely even knew they were here; they were quiet for the most part and when all was said and done; 10 hours later (these men WORK HARD) we have a beautiful, efficient new heating and water system They even made a small adjustment for us which I thought was nice- From Darrell and Ben but importantly the work crew ; Dan, Eric, Jacob and Anthony- Thank you!!! MILLTOWN once again went above and beyond for me. This time I had them come out to do a plumbing review and they provided me with a comprehensive inspection and then a report of items that I should think about having fixed. They did not push any services on me but ensured I knew what was needed. I did have them clear a drain that was over packed with mineral deposits and also fix a drain pipe in my kitchen. The guys did an excellent job with the repairs and clean up all while ensuring I understood what they were doing. I have now had a few experiences with MILLTOWN and they continue to excel. UPDATE: I was blown away by how quickly this was handled. Fred, the owner, called me first thing the very next morning and couldn’t have been nicer super down to earth, easy to talk to, and truly understanding. He immediately sent out his senior plumber to take care of everything I wanted addressed, and the work was outstanding. Between Fred’s personal attention and the excellent quality of the work, this was an all around fantastic experience. I couldn’t be happier with how the tankless hot water system turned out. Highly recommend them, thank you Fred and team. We had our HVAC and tankless unit installed by MillTown in 2020 as part of a hydronic heating system. A month ago, the commercial‑grade tank they installed failed. Rheem covered the tank under warranty, but MillTown charged $5,800 for the replacement — which was essentially a retrofit with minimal changes. After reviewing the work, it was clear the job should have been closer to $3,000 based on industry standards and actual scope. Unfortunately, the workmanship was disappointing. The system was left in a condition that doesn’t reflect professional standards — including a drain valve positioned against another pipe, making it impossible to drain the system properly. I provided photos and a detailed email to MillTown expressing these concerns. Their response was that there “wasn’t much to do,” and they offered only a $500 credit toward a future service. Given the excessive pricing and the quality of work, a credit for a future service wasn’t a reasonable solution, and I declined it. Another concern: their website offers no way to contact the owner or any managers directly. For a company that presents itself as family‑run, that lack of transparency says a lot. Overall, the experience was frustrating — from the high cost to the poor workmanship to the dismissive response. Based on this, I cannot recommend MillTown for plumbing or HVAC services.pics show 2 of new tank and 1 of original can see drain valve on pipe !!

I did not have electricity when we went to bed last night. I called this establishment the next morning. First impression was the receptionist whom made me think I dialed the right number. One phone call and within an hour of that call I had a. Professional representative at the house. Easy to deal with and certainly knowledgeable.Within a short time my electric was in full force. Being part of the service club has also made calling and scheduling visits so stress-free because I’m not worried about paying someone to come out. As someone who had needed things broken down and demonstrated multiple times , they have earned my trust and appreciation by giving clear descriptions of what’s going wrong and how it can be fixed or maintained . We had Matt here this morning for a kitchen drain clog. Milltown offered us an appointment within 24 hours of us reaching out - Matt showed up and was personable, knowledgeable and transparent. Fixed the clog relatively quickly and cleaned up very well after he was finished. Would highly recommend, and, even though we hope we don’t have to, would use their service again!

They installed my new tub/shower, removed and replaced the vanity and toilet, and capped off a second sink and toilet because the bathroom was previously a jack and Jill. They were friendly, answered all my questions, and kept my home clean.

Tom came out to diagnose why our Generac Stand-by generator would not start. He thoroughly explained the steps he would take, the cost, and what to expect. Before he left, the generator was clean and purring - all while working in a foot or more of snow.

Clara from Mill Town did a very thorough plumbing inspection of my condo. She checked everything possible, even peeked into my hard-to-reach attic. She noticed areas of concern, mostly corroding pipes, and provided estimates for each issue. I will certainly be requesting Clara for future inspections and any repairs!

Pedro and his team completed the sump pump installation and piping for the house promptly. We had a pump that was piped out of our basement window which was not ideal. He chose a great option to pipe in the system that looks to work well and is cosmetically appealing for the house.

In the 3+ years I've lived at my house the CO2 alarms had gone off a few times. National Grid investigated and performed some maintenance to the gas line to seemingly fix the issue. When replacing some fiberglass insulation in my basement i discovered the exhaust for my hot water heater had never been fully connected and was venting directly into my house. I reached out to several HVAC companies and had no luck until calling Milltown. Seng and Ralph promptly dispatched a technician to fix this very serious problem. Clara was able to correct the botched install, perform necessary repairs, clean the system and most importantly help ensure my family doesn't die of CO2 poisoning. A+ 5/5 service from a great group of people.

Matt came and after I went over the issue, he went over his process. He was able to diagnose the problem relatively quickly and fix it. He then went over preventive options to keep it from happening again. All in all, extremely professional and glad he was able to solve the issue as quickly as he did.

I’ve used them several times over the years and have a membership with them. Every time I’ve gotten a kind and professional employee sent over. They walk you through the processes of whatever they are going to do. They sometimes give options/packages that you can choose from if you’re going to have multiple things done so you can pick and choose if you only want some done at the time and you can see how everything’s prices add up. They are thorough when they check things out before getting to work. They can email you options as well so you can have reference to what things could cost if later you choose to have them done at a later date in the future.

Milltown plumbing did a great job on my multifamily dated 1853 with plumbing issues and replacement of damaged cast iron pipes, new toilet from a leak in one of the apartments and getting a boiler up to code. The team lead Clara was there from start to finish with the total 4 crew professionals. I went with Milltown when I first met Clara, yes a female master plumber who prior to the job answered my questions and provided her knowledge and rationale in a very friendly manner. The scope of work was concise, the language was specific as to where they were going to cut, etc as opposed to another quote I got from my existing plumbing company. This is one of the reasons I went with Clara at Milltown.

We had a bath/shower leak that was dripping into our kitchen ceiling—such a huge bummer, especially since we’d only moved into the house two months ago. I left a message with Milltown Plumbing late last night and was impressed right away: I got a call at 7am this morning, an ETA by 8am, and by around 9am Jonathan was at our door. Jonathan was fantastic. He was incredibly patient, took the time to answer all of my questions, and was very transparent and thoughtful as he walked me through the issue and all possible solutions. Jay also came by to help Jonathan finish the project, and he was just as great—professional, friendly, and clearly knowledgeable. I already had plans to renovate this bathroom within the next six months due to its age, so I asked a lot of questions that were honestly unrelated to the original problem—and Jonathan generously answered every single one. Because of how knowledgeable and trustworthy he was, I ended up scheduling our bathroom renovation with Jonathan through Milltown Plumbing. Truly a 5-star experience from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend Jonathan, Jay, and Milltown Plumbing to anyone.

Last month on a Sunday, I had a circuit breaker that kept tripping. When I went to reset, the breaker was loose and I knew it was time to call the professionals. Called Milltown Monday morning and they had two electricians come around noon time. Now that is responsiveness. Not only identified the problem, but found two other issues in the electrical box after doing a complete safety check. They bought the parts and completed the repairs that afternoon. NO $200 emergency call like others, very professional, and great quality work. Kudos to Milltown.
